Boarding: A Day in the Life
AZ Canine Centers provides a safe and cozy environment similar to home (or better!). We offer a range of options to suit each dogโs temperament, so your pup can be safe, happy, and relaxed during their stay. We include group play (daycare) throughout your stay, and for the pups who prefer humans to dogs, we provide daily solo play and walks around our acreage to stimulate their noses and interest and keep them active. We provide a well-rounded boarding experience to ensure your dogโs time with us is stimulating, fun, and enriching. We focus on providing the highest quality stay for our pups which means we engage them in mental stimulation, scent games, puzzles, agility fun, play pools, ball play, and sprinklers, or sometimes just good ole belly rubs, treats and love. Our facility adheres to a fear-free methodology in all we do, from grooming and training to daycare and boarding.
Board-N-Trains
Board-n-trains are also an option and begin at $750 for a week-long stay. Dogs can opt for a private suite or stay with their friends in open boarding. Our canine guests are never crated or kenneled overnight unless requested by the pet parent. We provide all beds, blankets, and dishes, including orthopedic beds and raised or slow feeders. Pet parents are responsible for supplying their dogโs food and medications. We ask for an extra dayโs worth of food in case a parent is delayed. It is always in the best interest of the dog to stay consistent with their diet and not alter their food or feeding habits as we do not want to cause stomach upset for any of our pups.

With decades of experience and certifications from the industryโs leading institutions, Nathan leads our positive discipline training program. Whether itโs introducing a new dog into your pack, desensitizing your dog from anxiety triggers, puppy training, or high-level obedience, Nathan can help.
Group Training Classes
We offer a multitude of training classes! Our classes are $150 for a five-week series. Each week we build upon the skills learned during the previous week. Currently, we offer 7 group classes:
- Puppy Class
- Leash Manners
- Obedience 1, 2 & 3
- Tricks-n-Agility-Basic
- Tricks-n-Agility-Advanced

Private Lessons
Private lessons, board-n-trains, and service dog trainings begin with prior consultation with Nathan. Training consults are $30 and usually 30-45 minutes. During the consult, Nathan will meet your dog, do some temperament testing, learn about your goals and formulate a mutually agreeable training plan.
- IN-FACILITY: Training with Nathan is $65 per hour
- OFF-SITE-Training in your home, office or a location of your choosing is $75 per hour

Puppy Kindergarten
Daily training sessions specifically tailored to imprint our youngest pups with the best of manners. This sets your puppy up for a lifetime of learning and develops basic obedience with your pup while you work. We can also assist with common puppy behaviors such as curbing chewing and teaching potty training. Additional $45 per day on top of discounted puppy daycare rate.

Service Dogs
With nearly 3 decades of experience as a professional service dog trainer, Nathan has assisted many clients with the private training of an ADA full-access dog. He primarily focuses on wheelchair-bound or owners with mobility limitations, but is happy to assist where needed. We begin with a one-hour consultation where an individualized plan is created for optimal success. Following training, we can connect service clients to organizations that may be able to assist with grants.

ASK A QUESTION
Daycare
We are a training-based facility and provide an unmatched daycare experience. Unlike most daycares, we divide by size, temperament, and play style. We believe in engaging our dogs in the outside environment and letting them be dogsโthey are encouraged to spend lots of time in our huge play yards sniffing, running, chasing, playing, and even learning on our agility equipment. Our huge play yards come equipped with real grass and trees, tons of play equipment, sprinklers, play pools and balls to provide even the most discerning dog with an awesome day. We re-enforce manners and good doggie habits in all we do. We do not kennel or crate for mandatory nap time and our all-day indoor/outdoor access frees dogs from the boredom and bad habits that come from being stuck in a concrete room all day. We also serve lunch and administer medications as arranged.
AKC EVALUATIONS
Nathan is an AKC Evaluator for Canine Good Citizen (โCGCโ), AKC Star Puppy, and Tricks-n-Agility Titles. These tests are usually offered at the end of each of our group training sessions, but if you wish to test for CGC or a Tricks-n-Agility Title, please contact us. AKC Star Puppy Certifications require participation in our group classes and an additional 6th week of class to be eligible for testing. Payment for testing does not guarantee a resulting โpassโ on the test.
