AZ Canine Center is a full-service, cage-free facility in Chandler, Arizona. More than just a boarding center or daycare, we offer wrap-around services so your pup can have a great time and practice being a good canine citizen, too.

With daycare, boarding, training, and grooming services, AZ Canine Center is set on 7 acres and is a dog’s paradise. Unlike most daycare and boarding facilities, we offer a focus on training while dogs are away from their owners. With decades of collective experience, our staff are experts at imprinting manners, providing mental stimulation, and fostering good habits in dogs in our care. We are a 24/7 staffed facility and offer a wide range of options to suit each individual dog’s personality and needs, ensuring they thrive with us! We employ the highest professional standards in our facility and go to great lengths to make sure your dog’s experience with us is safe, rewarding, enriching, and fun!

AZ Canine Centers was launched by dog behaviorist Nathan Braaten. After having undergone brain surgery in his early 20s, Nathan spent a full year in ICU at Barrow’s re-learning all life skills, including how to walk. It was at this point, in the late 1990’s early 2000s, Nathan saw the value in relying on a service dog for assistance and trained his own dog to be his service animal. After seeing so many people in the brain trauma center whose lives could be improved with the help of a dog, Nathan began his quest to become a professional service dog trainer. Nathan focuses on training ADA dogs for owners with mobility issues and those who are wheelchair-bound. Over the years, many other individuals requested Nathan’s training help, allowing his training business to naturally evolve and expand. Now, after almost 30 years of dedicating his life to his dogs and clients, Nathan is the proud owner of the AZ Canine Center which is a full-service, cage-free facility in Chandler, Arizona. Nathan continues to train dogs for all purposes, as well as provide daycare, boarding, grooming, and support services for dogs in need, as well as nonprofit rescues. Our motto has always been “giving you a better dog at the end of your stay.”
